All items must be clearly labeled with the child's first and last name. Please adjust the following list for specialized programs (no need to bring water shoes on the rock climbing intensive). Parents are asked to provide their child/children with the following items everyday their child/children attend Avid4 Summer Camp:
- A backpack, sized to fit your child, that can hold all personal belongings listed below.

Clothing for any weather, including at least one warm layer (fleece jacket, etc.).

Rain gear- More specifically, if rain is in the forecast, campers should have an outer waterproof layer (rain jacket or poncho) that will not soak through in heavy rain),

Warm layer (not cotton because it gets cold when wet), in addition to the clothes that they wear.

Second Warm Layer,If the high for the day is 60 degrees or below, please also include a second warm layer, long pants, and a warm hat. Kids have fun in all weather conditions, as long as they are warm!
- A Sun hat that provides full sun protection

Water shoes (or some footwear that campers can wear in a stream or lake). Wear hiking shoes each morning
- A swimsuit and towel on days the child goes kayaking or canoeing. One group will be kayaking on the first day of camp, so please bring these on Monday if this applies to your camper.
- Water bottle A full, non-breakable, non-leaking, labeled with the child's name
- Sunscreen (15+ SPF) with child's name clearly labeled
- Mosquito Repellant with child's name clearly labeled
- Lunch (no refrigeration necessary and creating the minimum amount of trash which the camper will need to carry out on hiking days)
- Extra clothes (full set) in large ziplock
- Sunglasses (optional)
