Born out of the need to find appropriate gear for their own child Peter and Cynthia Dean devised a strategy to develop an online store that provided gear to other active families looking to get their newborns, toddlers and young ones involved in their outdoor activities. “We realized quickly that in order to feel confident to introduce our kids into our active outdoor lifestyle they would need to be safe, secure and comfortable.”, said Cynthia Dean. ” It was very difficult to find anything for our child that really met the technical needs of our outdoor activities. Most everything in the market was directed towards “around the house type activities” and did not offer the types of technology and comfort that is available to adults. Sorting through a variety of manufacturers and hunting for selective items we were able to put together a collection that we felt could meet the need. Our new site allows us to share what we have learned with other families facing the same situation.”
