Kids Road Bikes
As avid riders, we tracked down "real" road-ready racing bikes for kids. The kids road bike we picked is the Argon 18 is based out of Montreal and makes two superior race ready bikes for kids. The Xenon 650 fits kids under 5 feet and the Xenon 24 fits kids under 4 feet. In fact, one of the "bigger kids" that rides an Argon 18 set the bike course record at the Ironman World Championship in 2005. (Torbjorn Sindballe) These are beautiful kids road bikes with great components.
We suggest you find a good bike shop that has experience building road bikes to have them build and set up the bike to fit your young cycling star. A good shop makes a big difference.
