The Deuter SL shoulder harness is a slightly smaller version of the shoulder harness found on Deuter's ACT Lite backpacks.  The SL harness shoulder straps are set at a narrower position and are shorter to accommodate a petite adult or child's build.  The shoulder straps are not only set in a more narrow position but are also cut to a thinner shape.  These features, along with the chest strap’s higher adjustability, offer an unparalleled freedom of movement and improved contact and weight distribution at the shoulders for smaller hikers.  This harness allows childern or smaller hikers to get the perfect fit in a Deuter backpack that is large enough for them to grow into and get years of use out of. The SL shoulder harness is compatible with all Deuter ACT Lite backpacks.
